ADVOCATES for AWARENESS of WATCHTOWER ABUSES (AAWA) is an international not-for-profit (501c3) educational organization, dedicated to raising awareness about policies of the Watch Tower Society that violate basic human rights. AAWA is also committed to offering help and support to those who are mentally and emotionally afflicted by the Society’s teachings and practices.

Their mission is to assist individuals in exercising "critical thinking" when examining the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Footsteps is the only organization in the United States providing comprehensive services to people who have chosen to leave their ultra-Orthodox communities and begin new lives. Based in New York, Footsteps provides a range of services, including social and emotional support, educational and career guidance, workshops and social activities, and access to resources.
The Aftermath Foundation exists to help those who want to leave Scientology and the Sea Organization,
but lack a system of support they can rely on while getting on their feet in the outside world.
